All these buildings, some over 100 years old, offer modern conveniences with breathtaking scenery and easy access to trails, historic sites, beaches and the park museum. Two campgrounds and 2 group camps operate at Fort Flagler. The Lower Campground operates year-round, and the Upper Campground is open between March and November. These campgrounds are located near the beaches of Kilisut Harbor and Port Townsend Bay with easy access to trails and historic sites. There is a 256-foot moorage dock, moorage buoys and a boat ramp on Kilisut Harbor, just south of the Lower Campground camp store. The dock is available seasonally, between March 25 and September 15. A second boat ramp is located adjacent to the Lower Campground, north of the camp store, with access to Port Townsend Bay. Docks are also available nearby at Mystery Bay State Park south of Fort Flagler.
